About Us

This is the official web site and blog for Awana at New Hope Fellowship Church in Gardena, CA!  We began our program in November of 2012, and we're eager to share everything we're learning and trying in our program with you!  God is so good, and we're working hard to bless the children in our ministry!

In Awana, kids learn about Jesus and grow closer to God through singing, playing games, and learning God's holy Word!  Kids can earn badges and awards by memorizing Bible verses and through completing community service activities!

We meet every Friday evening from 6:15 pm - 7:45 pm, and welcome all children from K-6th grade!

We currently run the Sparks program for kids from Kindergarten to 2nd grade, and the Truth in Training program for kids from 3rd to 6th grade!
